BZ in Action! Cubing of three LPG transfer lines in Quintero
This week, we were at the Gasmar Terminal in Quintero with our Surveyor Engineer to perform the volume measurement of three liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) transfer lines, each measuring over 1,000 meters in length.
- Certification of the transfer line capacity is an important requirement for correctly determining the volumes transferred from a ship to the storage tanks.
- Before and after an LPG unloading, the line system must be filled so that the transfer lines are in the same condition when performing the initial and final measurements of the receiving tanks, thus ensuring that these measurements accurately represent the quantity received.
To perform the survey with the highest precision and with satellite georeferencing, we used the Trimble R10 GNSS System, Trimble TSC3 Controller, and Sokkia CX-105 Total Station.
A job well done, backed by the Value of Experience. BZ!!!
