BZ in Action — Loss Control Supervision of Fuel Oil and Slurry (San Vicente and Quintero)

This week, the BZ Consulting team took part in the export of Fuel Oil, loaded in San Vicente, and Slurry (asphalt emulsion), loaded in Quintero, aboard the MT Valle Bianca, delivering our specialized Loss Control service to technically supervise both transfers.

What was the task?

• Supervise representative sampling and witness laboratory tests
• Verify measurements (ullage, temperature) and check quantity and volume calculations
• Assess operational conditions during the loading/transfer stages at both ports
• Document findings and coordinate the issuance of technical reports with observations and recommendations

Results:

• Inspections carried out with technical rigor and in accordance with applicable standards
• Detailed record of the quantities transferred to support export documents
• Identification of operational improvements documented in the delivered reports
• Practical recommendations to optimize safety and efficiency in future operations
